About Hilary!

Hi there! Thanks for taking a gander at my pretty photos, I do work hard on them after all. :)

I am a wedding and newborn photographer located in the lovely DuPont, Washington. I love to lindy hop and eat cooler ranch Doritos. I love weddings and babies in Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle, Portland and Whidbey Island.  If you dont live in one of those spots I bet I would come to where you're located to document your special days.

A big whale told me that twitter is down.

A couple weeks ago with my mommy group we went to the City Goat Farm & Zoo over in Spanaway, WA. We had been to a few farm like places before and Jack has always been a bit apprehensive but I dont want him to be scared of things. I want him to learn and enjoy things in the real life not just in his books. Anyway, so we went even though I knew he wouldnt  be the biggest fan. It place was pretty big and had a few unexpected animals.. like a camel! They offer pony rides too! Jack didnt opt for that this particular day though, maybe one day. The petting zoo is really used to them having their treat buckets so they kind of attack you for food if you have one. We didnt, but everyone else did so of course Jack was scared. In one of the photos down below (the only one Im in, Thanks Kindall, you can see how Jack was holding on for dear life!) As the treats were finally almost all gone and the goats stopped thinking he had their breakfast he calmed down a little and let me put him down. He liked the rabbits the most I think.. oh and the ADORABLE duckings that were literally born the day before we went there. How awesome and adorable are they?petting zoos in pierce countyVisiting a farm is on our Bucket List! How is yours going?

I would like to introduce to you Dagny! When I met up with her last week she was just 4 days old. She is the youngest of three and is the only little girl. She has two proud big brothers who seem to love her already.

It seems as if Ive been there from the beginning with this little family. I photographed their wedding a few weeks after I moved here to Washington and Ive been with them ever since! It has been such a pleasure being able to watch little Isaac grow into the adorable boy he is today! His mama and daddy signed up for the baby plan and I was so excited! Since my husband is military baby planners are somewhat hard to come by do to either myself moving or the baby. He is my first baby planner graduate and I will really miss seeing him all the time! Due to both of our schedules we didn’t have the time to have photos around his birthday so in these photos he’s about 15 months. :) Daddy hadn’t made it to any sessions except the newborn one and I was so glad he was able to make this last one.puyallup baby plan photographerIsn’t he the cutest?!?! So I was out taking Jacks 365 photo and we were heading back to the car to pack up when I saw this gal. I let her walk on by as I admired her beautiful purple hair and adorable dress. I thought to myself, “gee, Id like to photograph her!” I told Neil and he told me I should just ask her. I knew it was going to be a beautiful sunset based on how dramatic the clouds were already so I hiked it back across the bridge and caught up with her and her family. I asked her and she said yes. photo sessions at chambers bayIt just so happend to be her birthday and that’s why she was dressed up. What a fun surprise for your birthday, a random person stopping you to have a mini photo session with you!

Sarah, I really enjoyed taking these for you. I hope your birthday was fabulous. Thanks for saying yes.

A few days ago Alyssa was reunited with her husband after a long 7 months away from him. Once they were reunited he was so sweet. I always love homecomings because all that emotion the family has felt over the duration of the deployment comes out. I love being there for the families, thanks for allowing me to be part of your lives.
