Hello from San Juan, Puerto Rico!
Neil and I spent July 4th in Washington DC. We figured “why not be in the nations capitol” on its birthday? Everyone else thought the same thing apparently. :) We started our trip at the National Cathedral.

Now for the fireworks!
It was mayhem as we tried our best to get home. We made it a lot sooner than I expected.. in about 30 minutes.
These last three were taken right outside our house. Apparently there was fireworks on the 5th too.

TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! Hope you are having a great time now! Can’t wait to see your pictures from the cruise:) Hope you aren’t getting too much bad weather!!! High winds cause big boats to rock….not good if you are prone to motion sickness…..

I love your photos! These pictures of D.C make me happy. I’ve lived just 30 minutes away from D.C. my whole life and never really stopped to appreciate it. But your shots made me want to go there tomorrow and actually take in the sights! Keep up the awesome work!
