When I had Jack I didnt know anything and I certainly thought I knew a lot. I guess I did, but at the time I hadn’t experienced it. Nursing is one of those things I knew I was going to do. No doubt about it… luckily Jack had the same plans. It is just one of the special moments with him each day that I get. He needs me. I love it (most days.) I am so glad I have continued to nurse the little man. Anyway, this blog isnt about me. Its about Lacy and her adorable baby girl AuBree. Lacy answered my casting call I had a few months ago for a nursing session. I then got busy and had to reschedule it which made me quite sad. Finally this last week we were able to meet up and take some great shots. Little Aubree is such a ham she wasnt all too interested in nursing. But she showed a lot of interest in my camera which.. is usually what I hope for.

Tuesday, August 28th, 2012There’s a hurricane named Isaac threatening the gulf coast. Yesterday this little Isaac gave his mom a little hurricane inside their house. Oh the joys of motherhood. Luckily he was a little angel for me when I was photographing him. Today he is 5 months old. He has got so big since I saw him at 4 days old. I love chunky babies and Im a little sad my own kiddo wasnt chunky. They’re just SO ADORABLE with all their chubs.
Oh I love all his tiny, baby parts. See you again in a few months little guy.

Monday, August 27th, 2012Oh Ive got a cute little family to show you. This is their first time having photos done in forever and a day. So I was so excited to be able to do these photos for them. They’re also having a baby! Holly is due in October and she is thrilled. Ethan the big brother on the other hand.. is not. I think once she’s here he’ll fall in love though.

Tuesday, August 14th, 2012Christina contacted me a little while ago about some photos of her adorable baby belly and son. Her husband is deployed and will most likely miss their daughter’s birth. Luckily enough, Ill be there so he can still “be there.” We met up at one of my favorite spots to shoot because it ALWAYS looks different every time I’m there. Plus its so hot, the water is nice. 
Oh, she is gorgeous.
Pretty much the WHOLE session JJ wanted to take some photos with my camera. I told him at the end I would let him take a few. That last one was his. :)

Wednesday, August 8th, 2012Laura and Tyler got married in one of the most gorgeous locations I have shot at. It was at a little spot called Wandering Waters up near Mount Baker. Their whole day was fun and unique. Their wedding day was perfect too, not too hot not too cold. It didn’t rain and it was sunny AND overcast at times. Just a normal manic depressive pacific northwest day. I shot this wedding alongside Gini of Visions of Romance. I knew it was going to be a good day when the day started out with beers (from a mason jar!) and 2 kegs. Everyone was so chill chill and hilarious. It was seriously an awesome day all around.
They opted for a first look and I just love when couples do that. It really frees up so much time and look at all these sweet images of them.
Instead of a cake they had AMAZEBALLS strawberry shortcake. IT WAS SCRUMPTIOUS!
