Jason is moving away to college in a few weeks and Julia wanted to take some photos to send with him. I thought that was a fantastic idea so I obliged. We met up in Olympia at the state Capitol building. Its a LOT prettier then Raleigh’s capitol building. Plus everything is green and wonderful.
Autumn and her husband KC are pretty awesome folks. She is one of the main people I am going to miss about NC. Im just sad we didnt get to know each other earlier than we had. Oh well, thats how it happens right? I afew days before we moved across the country I had a session with just the two of them. We met up in downtown Raleigh and got our ‘click” on!
I went to highschool with Crystal and she is one of my best friends, best friends. She and Harlan also happened to be one of my first weddings back in 2009. They are expecting a little bundle of baby boy in October. I know one thing for sure- that baby will be very well loved. We were lucky we got to have the session at all because of the weather. It rained on our first session time but we were able to stop back in Orlando on our way back home from Key West. We met early in the morning at the UFC Arboretum. It was where they went on their first date to a bonsai making class. (What an interesting class that must have been!) The arboretum is quite special to the two of them so why not have the session there. :) It was a hot muggy and buggy morning. Im S T I L L applying anti itch cream to my arms and legs! I hope you two didnt get bit as much as I did! Anyway, youre not here to read my words youre here to see some photos.

A little while ago I put out a casting call on facebook wanting married couples who were up for something different. Happily Roxy wanted to do it- which made me excited because she is just so stinkin’ cute! She’s a photographer out of Dunn, NC. Her and Brian just passed their third wedding anniversary and are so very much fun.
So, I know this might not look different to you, but it is. It is Beloved and Beloved is all about you. Its not about me. Its not about the cool poses I can make you do. Its just about you and your love for each other. This was my first go at a session with a different way of doing things and changing the way Im thinking throughout a session. Let me know what you think??
