I just got back from my trip to San Diego and was quite excited to edit through these. Its been a while since Ive had a session and I think I was itching to get some editing done. San Diego was fun except for Delta. I’m definitely not a fan of them. They are not my friends. A-N-Y-W-A-Y, Josh and April’s wedding is in Florida this upcoming October. He’s a helicopter pilot for the Marines and he is stationed in San Diego. He couldn’t take much leave so April and I flew to him. We started out our day at a park near their home and where they were looking to buy.
B-L-I-N-G!

April and Josh definitely made me feel the love. HOT HOT HOT!
The we finished our session at the Oceanside Pier. It was full of people but we managed to get a few shots with little to no people in them.

April & Josh | Engaged in San Diego
Friday, August 13th, 2010holly + craig | are engaged!
Wednesday, July 21st, 2010Happy Day at Sea from the Carnival Freedom!
I met Holly at Gabby & Will’s wedding and she was a bridesmaid. We instantly clicked so I was excited when she contacted me about her wedding in March. I met up with them to talk about their date and the most fun part of the wedding packages the engagement session! She and Craig mentioned they wanted to use their car as a prop. Of course I was excited. Holly also explained her love of cats to me. Craig actually proposed in their new house using one of their cats. I found it a little funny that during out session a kitty cat followed us around the whole time, although I dont think I got a photo if the little guy. :( Okay! on to the goodies!
We started out at the Kenly Tobacco Farm Life Museum. They are lovers of antique things so it was a perfect setting to start out at.
get it craig!

I love how excited they are to be going nowhere. Ok ok, I told them to look excited.

you wouldnt believe how bad it stank on this road. they were troopers!

yowwwwww owwwww!

erin + brandon are engaged! | Bailey Engagement Photographer
Monday, July 12th, 2010Erin & Brandon are fun. I like them a lot. They also have beautiful blue eyes. I like those a lot too. They are getting married later on this year in October. Brandon was one of the first grooms that happened to contact me instead of the bride. I really like that he’s getting involved. It shows a lot about the future; or at least I think so. We met up at their house(which also happens to be where the ceremony will be) in Bailey, NC. Since I have had so many sessions recently I felt as if I was getting to be a little bored.. or burnt out on it. But there was just enough time in between the last session and theirs to make me refreshed and I was super excited about this session. When I say super excited.. I totally mean it too. I mean really, when I met them they said they were bringing along their vintage truck. Uhm AWESOME! Anyway, we met up. I got to see the place then we made a little trip down to where the reception is going to be and let me tell you I am SUPER excited for their wedding as this is one sweet spot in lil ole’ Bailey NC. So excited for October to get here already! After we saw the sites we went downtown to Wilson and shot a few.

Then we went back to their place for some sunset photos

Gotta have some of that bling!
You guys are great! I cant wait until your big day!
hannah + roberto | engaged!
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010Berto proposed to Hannah while I was making my drive down to Pensacola. Which I was happy about and sad that I missed. Although all of our friends did. Hannah is one of my good friends and I miss her a lot. Hannah works at a pre school and they were having an end of the year luau and he brought in a coconut and her doggy Bebe. Put her ring on a lei and the lei on Bebe. It sounds oh so cute! She said yes, of course. She told me at dinner later that night and I of course HAD to have a session with them before I left. She always wanted to have her wedding on the beach but with the oil she’s not sure how the beaches will be next June. So we decided to have some photos at the beach and the others at our friend Leslie’s grannies field. We did the beach photos at sunrise and it was still super humid and hot out. It kept fogging up me lens!

It was a gorgeous morning

We dont look to bad for it being 7am

I love you guys!
Also a few days after this session Berto got a Pilot slot in the Navy! Hooray for flyboys! Congratulations!
ryan + becky | got engaged! | pensacola engagement & wedding photography
Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010I have known Becky since I was in high school even though she went to Pace. We went to the same church together. I always loved her curls. Oddly enough I dont know of this is true or not but I believe her fiance, Ryan and she met while dancing every Friday at Pensacola Swing. I just assumed that was the case and never asked them. How odd of me. Oh well. They are so cute dancing together and her little curls bounce all around. Ryan is a Weapons System Operator flying the F-15E Strike Eagle up here at little ole Seymour Johnson AFB. Soon he they will be moving to Mountain Home AFB once he finishes up school here.
Ryan flew into Pensacola(as a surprise) a week before we took these photos and proposed. I think he could only stay one day and then he had to fly back out. How romantic!? A few days later he asked me to meet up with them to take their engagement photos(since he knew I’d be in town). I was super excited about it and about them getting engaged because they are just so darn cute together and I knew it was bound to happen eventually! We met up in downtown Pensacola because that’s where he proposed at!

Every now and then when I have a session with someone they will have a few ideas. I absolutely LOVE when you have ideas and thoughts for photos so please bring them! This was their idea and I think its the cutest thing ever!Also- what do you think about these here frames for the photos? Im thinking about integrating them into the blog because I think they are super cute and would go well with the blog?

Did forget to mention that while I was in Pensacola it was scheduled to rain EVERY DAY!?!? In a lot of these shots it was raining( even if just a little bit) but they still worked it.Soon after we moved on over to one of their favorite spots in Pensacola.

Ryan got jumping skillz. The sun decided to make an appearance and the clouds got all puffy and pretty.

Check out that bling! Wooooooweeee!
