It seems as if Ive been there from the beginning with this little family. I photographed their wedding a few weeks after I moved here to Washington and Ive been with them ever since! It has been such a pleasure being able to watch little Isaac grow into the adorable boy he is today! His mama and daddy signed up for the baby plan and I was so excited! Since my husband is military baby planners are somewhat hard to come by do to either myself moving or the baby. He is my first baby planner graduate and I will really miss seeing him all the time! Due to both of our schedules we didn’t have the time to have photos around his birthday so in these photos he’s about 15 months. :) Daddy hadn’t made it to any sessions except the newborn one and I was so glad he was able to make this last one.

Tuesday, May 14th, 2013I met up with the most adorable family last week. I had come across this spot late last year and I knew it was somewhere I wanted to have a session. Jennifer and her family were more than happy to come along and let me do my thing. It was such a gorgeous day here in Washington and this was one of the hottest ones too! Jennifer’s husband is leaving soon so I was glad to be there and get some shots of him and the family.

Tuesday, May 7th, 2013A while back I saw this idea on pinterest. For some reason I never thought to photograph his painting in the studio so when it came time to have some fun and paint a few canvas’ we brought him into the studio. On pinterest, the pin said, “something to do with a 2 year old instead of a cake smash” and I thought it was a fabulous idea. I love it when kids get messy. That way you know they’re having fun.. that is if they enjoy being dirty. This one also happens to be on our bucket list. BOOM. Check this off!
I cant get enough of this adorable little boy.

Saturday, May 4th, 2013Amanda and Chloe are not new to the Hilary Mercer Photography family. I have been photographing Chloe since she was 9 months old. She’ll be two next month! She and Jack have become friends and are finally starting to play with each other and now just next to each other. It was a lovely day out in Puyallup in a lovely field of yellow wildflowers. Chloe was her usual self for my camera, unhappy. Oh well. We did the best we could. :)
Maybe we’ll try again soon. She MIGHT like me then.

Thursday, May 2nd, 2013Christian came into the studio last week to see me. He has gotten so big like all babies do. The last time I saw him was when he got to meet his dad for the first time. He has such big adorable eyes and is so squeezable.
