Hmmm where to start.

Lynne and I went to high school together. We were/are friends. We played soccer and I think we played the same position (which meant she played and I sat the bench!) She even had me over for Christmas dinner in high school. THEN she dated my ex boyfriend and I was mad at her for a while. Something terrible happened and said boyfriend ( lets call him Drew) was in a car accident and didn’t make it. We became close again. Its strange how close death can make you feel towards someone else. She knows exactly how I feel about Drew and she feels the same I am sure. I think because of him we’ll always be close even if we dont talk that often, because of that link. That bond we have. Anyway, because Ive known her for T E N Y E A R S now! I figured I’d show a few old school Lynne and Hilary photos. Unfortunately I cant find any of my old albums to scan in pre 06 stuff from high school but there’s a few fun images from after 2006 I dug up. Oh, and in the photos there’s a few other beautiful ladies in the photos those are also Drew’s ex girlfriends. We’re all friends. LAHM.

Green was Drews favorite color.

This is us with Drew’s beautiful mama Esther.Ok ok. Now for the good stuff.

Ben and Lynne met at summer camp. They were both counselors. He is funny and she is very smart (I’m sure he’s smart too) I think they are a great pair together. Ben is going to school in North Carolina at South Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Lynne is a kindergarten teacher (and I cant imagine her doing anything else but teaching.) I would want her as Jack’s teacher cause I bet she’s awesome and comes up with all sorts of fun things to do. Since Ben is studying in NC it made sense for Lynne to come up to NC for photos since I was going to be there too. It also worked out pretty good in timing so I’m glad she could fly up. This was my first time meeting Ben and I like him. He made myself and Lynne laugh and he’s a lot taller than I anticipated. I like him. We started out at his college because well, it’s pretty.raleigh wedding photographyRaleigh engagement photography

eleven. eleven. eleven!

Andrew and Melody are both from Pine Level, North Carolina! They have known each other since the 4th grade. They grew up playing at this park so it seemed only fitting that their engagement session be there. engagement session in a parkengaged couple at a park

Paul and Rebecca are lindy hoppers.

I love lindy hoppers.

I met Rebecca when she lived here in North Carolina. She moved to Seattle a little while after she and Paul started dating and she has been deeply missed in the dance community on the East coast. She announced her engagement and I was pretty excited when she inquired with me about her wedding photography. Unfortunately I wont be living in the area (yet) during her wedding which just happens to be THIS Saturday! Whoops! They have changed their date since they inquired. Its now October 15th! Yay!!!!!!

However, I happened to have a free day last week when we were in the Tacoma area house hunting. So we got together and took some engagement photos. They live like 10 minutes from Pikes Place Market (I am so jealous!) and wanted to do photos there. I dont think any of us thought about it being a holiday weekend and the market was crazy packed. I dont think it helped that Bumpershoot was going on at Seattle Center either. We still had some fun though. :)Pikes Place couple
