Olympic National Park | Camping trip

Tuesday, September 18th, 2012

A few weeks ago we decided to go camping. It was a lovely way to end the summer here in WA. We sure do love it here. We camped at the Staircase Campgrounds in the Olympia National Park. It was Jacks first time camping so we were a little nervous as to how he would do.

He was awesome.. just like we made him. PS: yes we brought an air mattress.

He had a lot of fun with that flash light. We were there during the blue moon. It WAS C R A Z Y bright out. It seriously looked like it was day time in these photos. It was nuts. I had to tone it down to make it look more nightly.olympic national park photography

Mount Vernon Tulip Festival | Tulip Town

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012

A few friends and myself made the drive up to Mount Vernon for the annual tulip festival in April. It was really neat to see all the tulips but boy was it muddy! I dont know why I wasnt expecting mud. Maybe its cause its not muddy here in DuPont. I did learn a few things while we were there. Tulips are hard to photograph. Its very hard to be original with rows of tulips. We need to go at sunrise/sunset next year. I also want Neil to fly me over the fields next year. It will also be better because Jack will be walking and I can just let him get dirty instead of wear him. He doesnt like me to photograph AND wear him on the front in the Ergo. Luckily I did find a spot to set him without him getting too messy.mount vernon tulip festivalMount Vernon, WashingtonMt Vernon Tulip FestivalTulip townTulip Town in apritulips in washington statechildren at tulip townTulip town Mt Vernon
