Will + Gabby

Monday, January 24th, 2011

Gabby and Will moved to Texas a few days after we took these photos. They wanted a fun session before they left and I was happy to oblige. We met up at their favorite book store, Pauper’s Books in Clayton( Which has become my favorite book store since then) first and then finished near Will’s families land here in Selma. It was a fun time. I hope you two enjoy Texas!20110113-DSC_2702

So they totally did this on their own. How cute are they!?20110113-DSC_277020110113-DSC_289520110113-DSC_277520110113-DSC_288220110113-DSC_283320110113-DSC_288420110113-DSC_2893

Jessica and Brian were my last wedded couple of 2010. From what Ive learned of them over the past few months they are two of the sweetest people ever. Its funny I always learn a T O N about my couples at the wedding and this wedding was no different. Usually its from speeches at the reception and from the bridesmaids. This wedding was no different. I went away feeling a little closer to both the bride and the groom. You two were absolutely amazing to work with.

Youre awesome. Your wedding was awesome and I hope the rest of your lives together is just as awesome as you two are!Four_Rectangles

The rings. Typically I have issues with rings. They never work out how I want them but I think I did a fairly sweet job. Although, Autumn did the one on the right and top. :) Hello sweet teamwork!

At some weddings I wonder where the bridesmaids are? Which shouldn’t happen they are there for you right? Brides need help. These bridesmaids were there. THE WHOLE TIME. It wasnt about them. It was all about Jessica and I really like that. Jessica, you have great friends.DSC_4220DSC_4228

This photos is top on my list for favorites of the day. It reminds me of the beginning of Cinderella when the birdies are helping her get dressed.DSC_0125-2

Autumn snapped this one. I love it too.DSC_4271DSC_0323

They opted for a first look since they had to sign the ketubah beforehand anyway. I really cant say enough how big a difference having a first look makes. Its precious time youll never get back and it is awesome.DSC_4282DSC_4295DSC_0340DSC_4336DSC_4345DSC_4391

Autumn, my second shooter was my official poser. She did a fantastic job and it made it to where I didnt have resort back to the “typical” poses in my head. So, Thank you Autumn.DSC_4430DSC_4441DSC_4574DSC_4624DSC_4690DSC_4716DSC_4735

AND they are married! yippee!

Limes. I absolutely love limes. I think every wedding should feature natural details along with man made. Plus limes are beautiful!DSC_4847DSC_4855DSC_5069

So, when I first saw these I thought ‘that cant be what I think it is’ and holy goodness IT WAS MILK AND COOKIES.

HELLO BEST IDEA EVER!DSC_0587DSC_4974DSC_0604 copyDSC_4982DSC_5029DSC_5036DSC_0650DSC_0827

Brian and Jessica really got to enjoy themselves at the wedding. Thats pretty rare actually for brides and grooms to have time to dance, alot. DSC_5220DSC_5236DSC_0840DSC_0881DSC_5273DSC_5316DSC_5325

Halfway through I realized we didnt have any photos of the bride and the bouquet yet. So Jessica braved her feet getting frozen for a few minutes outside with us.DSC_5569DSC_5565

How pretty is that bouquet?DSC_5075

Alright you two, seriously I wasnt kidding when I say how awesome you two are. I so very much enjoyed being a part of your day. Thank you for having me be part of it.

Tonight there was a party in Pine Level!

KW Event Productions did an awesome job. The place looked great. Super pink and Super Christmas’sy! The party was help at Hinnant Family Vineyards in Pine Level. Jillian | Ten days new!

Monday, December 13th, 2010

In preparation for my own little one on the way I am offering a few select complimentary newborn sessions. So if you happen to know anyone expecting from now until the end of February send them my way. :)

Baby Jillian is one of those lucky sessions. She took a while to get to sleep as she just wanted to see what was going on. So until she was ready for her photoshoot I had a little fun with her brother :) He definitely made it ok for me to have a little boy. So stinkin’ cute!DSC_2954His Mama had kissed him on the cheek :)DSC_2967DSC_2940

Their first family photo being the four or them. Big brother was super stoked to be holding his tiny sister!DSC_3073 copy

Jillian has the sweetest lips ever. I have top lip envy.DSC_3101DSC_3108 copyDSC_3116

Goodnight Moon is a vintage from her dads collection of baby photos. Mr bunny is her brothers. I always love the parents ideas. I would have never thought to use a book as a backdrop.DSC_3152

She looks like a bunny here :)DSC_3179DSC_3183DSC_3212DSC_3224 copyDSC_3287Thank you both so much for letting me come in and meet your new little one. She is so special!
